Hi! Welcome to Sunday Candy; a newsletter where I share whatever is on my mind in whatever way I want to share it with you. This issue and other In-Betweenies, that don’t get sent out, lives here.
I Remember is a reflection of my reconnection with my love of watching movies alone in theaters after seeing the film All of Us Strangers.
Haven’t subscribed? Don’t be shy.
P.S. If you were into this one, or you also have a deep love of going to the movies, or you treasure physical artifacts as much as I do, then you might like the posts below!
The first is on being true to yourself to cultivate authentic connection, inspired by one of my favorite films: Almost Famous. The other is where I reflect on my love for going to the movies and what my personal movie ticket collection means to me.
Check them out & let me know what you think!
"Alone, but together". Such a fitting description, applies to all the movie theater experience and this communal experience is something powerful that shouldn't be forgotten, ever!
Picturing the guy having that feast made me laugh 😂 Qué pantalones! And that lady seems to have no boundaries.
Needless to say, I agree with everything said here more than I can describe :)
Will watch that movie as soon as possible and we'll comment on that one, and loved the 100% handwritten piece. Doing it that way must have been healing too.
I have a feeling you will balk at the apple vision pro movie watching experience... but maybe you'll see magic in it too
