PINK SUNDAY CANDY 😍 Your header looks like fallen peonies petals and smashed pink cake icing. I’M HERE FOR IT 💖

Your first confession is so relatable. I love how you put fleeting experiences into words. “It is never the same feeling, never the same sound, never the same texture, and I worry that I’ll never do anything me inside justice.” I was so inspired by this I restacked it.

I wonder if the act of writing is like having a conversation with your mind? We consume all these sounds, colors, textures, and try to make sense of them through writing. Our vision for the piece might constantly change in our minds after every word is written. So its like the final piece is where we left off in the conversation. The piece is like a collaborative act with our minds, and with the birds we heard singing, the dandelion fuzzies dancing above the grass, the solitude of no one around. And I think that’s beautiful.

I love your poetry! This feeling you captured, wondering where someone or something goes as we pass by, UGH love it. It’s fun to wonder what their stories are. And to wonder, if they’re thinking the same of us.

Your third and fourth confession/expression are powerful. I’m finding myself trying to analyze it 😬 And I want to know who HE is. Is he real? Or is HE the only certain thing were destined in life?

But really, your poetry, and this last one about the moth, 💙💙💙

I LOVE EVERYTHING IN THIS SUNDAY CANDY.

And truly love the final playlist. It was SUCH a fun impromptu collabbbb, I’m so happy we got to create something together again. Thank you again for the honor of collaborating on my faveee newsletter <3 The I listened to the whole playlist this morning while I painted. I realized that I can use the Sunday Candy playlists to keep the time while painting. This will be very helpful this summer!
