reading this was like tasting a warm, familiar dish from an old friend who found new herbs in her garden to cook with. comforting, thoughtfully delightful, and full of tiny surprises.

Maria!! Hii.

This is the most lovely description. I smiled at the image of finding herbs in the garden and cooking. What a wonderful vignette you just provoked in me -- I love it. And thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts with me :)

I love that these poems are typed on restaurant order forms, intertwined with beautiful floral Polaroids 😍 I’m excited to see what you type on next. Maybeeee construction paper? Wrapping paper? Paper with words already printed on it? Like magazine paper or newsprint?

The rhythm and rhyming of #7435-17 was so lovely to read over and over again. It’s my fave.

I’m resonating with the idea of getting to know someone so well that they’re like a mirror in #7435-15. It’s that vulnerability where two people can be honest about each other with each other, just being in tune to some frequency that’s shared only between them. (At least, this is what I got from reading this poem for myself.)

Also very excited for this vibeyy playlist. I love a good Sunday bop…and mondaytuesdaywednesdaythurs…… all day every day bop, especially with Talking Heads and LCD Soundsystem. I recommend you try out Caribou next Sunday. They’re very vibey and bopy and one of my faves.

Oh! Thank you for sharing how those landed for you. Love hearing what you took from that specific one -- I will not confirm or deny if that was my intention in order to preserve your own takeaway! What a lovely thought.

Let me know if you listen! I have no idea if anyone ever actually does. I love a daily boppin' too. One must always find time to be boppin'. This could have really just been a whole playlist of Talking Heads or LCD Soundsystem, I think. Maybe it should have been.

I'll peep more Caribou stuff. I won't wait until next Sunday though lol is that okay? Or does it have to be listened to only on Sunday?

I always listen to the playlists!!! Also, Caribou is an every day bop. Please do not wait to bop.

Monday Maple Syrup-- Ooh, I like this. Lately, I've been drinking a maple espresso tea. Love the breakfast energy you're bringing me here.

I love it when you send all this different things at once (though I equally love your essays, so...).

The one about the shivering man electrified me, it's so important to see everyone with the same compassion, and at the same level, without preconceptions, and you encapsulated that in such a concise way.

And I think that's something great you do, encapsulate big and profound feelings in concise, textured, memorable ways. You did it like 10 times in this delivery alone!

Will listen to the playlist soon, now I have 2 on my pending list!

Noted!! I will send a million different things for you.

Wow, I super appreciate that specific observation about the concision. Also noting that.

No more playlists for Oscar -- he's maxed out!

Thank you for always popping by :)
