What a gem-packed edition! Don't even know where to begin... from the start?
The first one made me think so much about that scene in American Beauty that encapsulates the whole message of the movie: where they describe the floating plastic bag, and the beauty in such mundane moments. Wow, hadn't thought about that scene, or movie, in such a long time. It's funny because for many years it was among my top 5-10 favorite movies. Let's rewatch it to see if it holds up (Kevin Spacey's situation probably won't help).
Ughhh I’m such a fan of the paper aesthetic and your poems, your way with words always, is so so good. I think it’s amazing how in a short poem, I can feel so seen. And in others, they’re fun to read and make me feel warm inside.
A buoyant heart and a buoyant mind <3
Hey!!! Thank YOU for sharing your gorgeous words. Im loving all these poems. They leave me feeling tender.
“I want to hold time in the palm of my hand. I swear, I’d give it right back.” I love this one so much.
Also dropping love for these:
“Paint it rose colored, or brush across an achy blue…”
“A fog in the morning…”
I’ve re-read these several times. I want to try poetry now. 💃💃💃

This song came to mind, with another one (you'll know which): https://open.spotify.com/track/3NpPqKXkS2tbNFLajC4TR2?si=9fcd1e141b094ff0
Mine floats and sink similarly, but also differently, and there it lies our uniqueness.

All others made me feel something different: from eerie autumns to colorful spring skies.
Loved this flamboyant edition!
