Often, I find myself reflecting on the conditions for creativity; what helps, what hinders it; how mothers navigate pursuing creative lives despite the unpaid labor of caregiving; how people without financial means or access to support and community can propel themselves creatively; and generally, how modern creative people can flourish with so much overstimulation, disconnection to the self and natural world, and working lives that deplete them of energy and time to create.
