Hi!i!i! I'm a little late to the party on this one.

First of all, I'm loving the art and I'm inspired to do more collaging. You highlighted an onion's beauty so well. And love that onions represent who we are, and by writing we're peeling layers uncovering more and more of ourselves. Its so beautiful. I'm gonna go slowly peel the red onion in my fridge, BRB.

OK back. Second, really resonating with throwing away trophies. I've placed so many limitations on myself in the corporate world, chasing titles, and in school chasing achievements and awards. I was a stressed out mess all the time, trying to box myself into some label, or concept of "excellence" someone else thought of, using that to steer my direction in life. And all for what? Why does this happen? To let go of those trophies and "just find joy in what you do for the sake of it" feels so right, so pure, so natural.

"...and I’m thrilled a couple of you actually replied!" - haha, that's how I feel 😅 it's fun!

Also, the bit on trophies was spot on - made me pause and think. Especially this bit - "When you get what you thought you wanted, the fire goes away..." - that's what happened to be when I was like huh, what do I do now?

Good stuff Sandra, I'm glad you're continuing the writing with this 🥂

On the song, I don't jump rope that much by Deadcrush by Alt J is a banger (I love Alt J, so all their songs are. Especially from the album "An Awesome Wave")

Hi Sandra,

Wow. Powerful stuff.

Made me relive everything from our conversation that night.

As for workout songs, Someday by Kygo comes to mind.

All the best!

Leo.
