I have fallen WAY behind on my substacks this summer so I’m just seeing this. Great poetry, as always, and I’d love to collaborate on something in the future. I’m leaning hard into my photography, so maybe your poetry complimented by my photos??? Keep me in mind
Hi Sandra, I love the poems you wrote especially the line "you seek a voice, and in every voice a home where they whisper welcome". Isn't that the most basic need? To be somewhere where you feel welcome - that is the place I would stay. Oh and I would like to collaborate with you on something. I am not sure what but I think it would be fun :)

With most of your poems I feel like you're talking to me, does everyone else feels this? Not that it is about me, but speaking to me and my same struggles, voicing and articulating them.
The voice one especially this time. It's pretty much trial and error, no? But yes, always expecting something more... which I don't necessarily think is wrong if it gets you moving along, out of your comfort zone, but wrong it is if you can't savor the right now. Eternal loop for me...
Oh and you know I'm so down for a collaboration in whatever form, unless it's something different than video (haha kidding). Are you in?
Just dove in to the distraction post, which was great, but concerned that I hadn't been notified of that post previously. Did I miss a separate post, or did you only notify those on your list of it here in this issue?
...total badass letter today...the poetry was most excellent rapping (since it is candy is it wrapping?)...anyhoo would be game for a poetry/abstract-comic collabo sometime in the future...maybe even mix in a playlist collabo to top it off like a sundae (or is it Sunday)...thanks for all you do!...

Sooooo many goodies in this issue 🤤 It feels like an explosion of creativity.
